The agreement was signed by S. Bobovich, Director General of Belarusian NPP, A. Putyato, Rector of Sukhoi Gomel State Technical University, and A. Pakhuchy, Director of Gymnasium No. 51.
The agreement provides for cooperation between the enterprise and educational institutions in career guidance for gymnasium students. Implementation of the document includes tours and workshops at Belarusian NPP and the laboratories of P. Sukhoi State Technical University, lectures and master classes by engineers, NPP specialists, and scientists, the development of student project activities, and much more.
The signing ceremony continued with a conversation between the Director General of Belarusian NPP and the school's students and their parents. During the meeting, Sergei Bobovich discussed nuclear and radiation safety at the nuclear power plant, the current status of the plant, the most in-demand professions at the plant, and the youth policy being implemented at the enterprise.
This is not the first time Belarusian NPP has initiated educational programs between secondary schools, the nuclear power plant, and the country's leading higher technical educational institutions. Previously, framework cooperation agreements were signed between schools in Ostrovets, Belarusian NPP, and specialized universities training specialists for the nuclear energy industry.
