During the visit, representatives of Rosatom got acquainted with the infrastructure of Belarusian NPP for the management of radioactive waste (RW). The experts visited a solid radioactive waste processing facility, a liquid radioactive waste solidification facility, and an RW storage facility.
During the visit, bilateral expert consultations were held on the development of Belarusian NPP decommissioning concept, design solutions and experience in RW management, as well as the development and implementation of measures to minimize radioactive waste.
