The world energy section includes a forecast for the growth of world oil demand in 2018, as well as information about the objectives of the new German government program, the new rules for subsidizing solar power stations in Switzerland, innovative energy technologies.
Power engineering. The materials published in the column are devoted to topical issues of improving relay protection and automation at the facilities of Belarusian power system and the problems of simulator training in the electric power industry.
State Energy Supervision. The key material of the column is an article devoted to the decisions of the technical council of the bodies of state energy supervision (March 14-16), which are of great importance for the settlement of disputes in the application of the requirements of normative technical acts. The section also contains materials on the criteria for assessing the reliability of pipelines of heating networks, safety in the operation of heat plants and the participation of energy supervision bodies in inspections of facilities with a mass gathering of people.
