Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant and Ostrovets District Education Department are linked by close ties of cooperation.

The company provides patronage to School No. 3 and Kindergarten No. 4 in Ostrovets. Under cooperation agreements with these institutions, Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant strengthens the school and kindergarten's facilities, oversees preparations for the summer season at children's health camp “Martlet”, and conducts career guidance and educational events, training sessions, and workshops for students.

The first "Atomic Group" in the country was opened in the kindergarten.

The company's employees regularly visit and provide comprehensive assistance to children from  Ostrovets District Center for Correctional and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation, as well as to children in socially dangerous situations and located at Ostrovets District Social and Pedagogical Center.
