19 applications were submitted for the competition. Over the course of two weeks, Belarusian NPP drivers competed for the title of "best" in three categories: passenger car, truck, and bus. The competition program included four stages: a test of knowledge of traffic regulations; a test of knowledge of employment protection, fire safety, and first aid; extinguishing a vehicle fire after an accident; and a test of vehicle handling skills. This year, the competition included newcomers who, incidentally, passed the tests at the highest level and took top spots.
"Discipline and professionalism are at the highest level at the nuclear power plant. Drivers ensure logistics throughout the entire facility, and most importantly, they are responsible for passenger safety. Professional skills competitions assess our capabilities and hone our professional skills. I enjoyed participating in these competitions. Healthy competition was present at every stage. We have a close-knit team, but when the judge's stopwatch is ticking away, you want to complete the task better and faster than everyone else. The excitement kicks in," commented Evgeny Mandrik, a 6-class driver and first-time competitor.
The results of the competition are as follows:
Winners in the Best Light Vehicle Driver category:
1st place – Borodko V.
2nd place – Grabovsky A.
3rd place – Kozlovsky V.
Winners in the Best Truck Driver category:
1st place – Kurilo V.
2nd place – Masalsky A.
3rd place – Ginovich A.
Winners in the Best Bus Driver category:
1st place – Mikhalovskiy V.

Participants who won prizes in individual categories received special diplomas from the company, as well as commemorative gifts from the local trade union.
The winners of the professional skills competition among drivers in Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant's vehicle transportation department will represent the company at national competitions.
