The height of the art object is about 19 meters. The total weight of the structure is 16 tons. The stele was installed using the large-unit assembly method.
The construction of the unique architectural structure was carried out by the general contractor of the project - JSC “Belelectromotnazhnaladka”.
During the ceremonial opening of the stele, the Chairman of Ostrovets District Executive Committee, Sergei Medzvetskas, said:
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the fact that Belarusian NPP supported and successfully implemented this initiative. Everything was done efficiently and on time. A gift that is more than worthy!"
"We are very pleased that today we have the opportunity to make our contribution to the development of the city. We are sure that this new location will soon appear in all the photographs. Its meaning is extremely clear - a peaceful atom in the ears of grain. I would like to express words of gratitude to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus for supporting this unique project," said Sergei Bobovich, Director General of Belarusian NPP.
