At the beginning of the year, to mark the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the youth of Belarusian NPP announced the challenge #bowtoeveryone. As part of the campaign, more than 200 of its participants visited burial sites, monuments and memorials located throughout Belarus and paid tribute to the soldiers and officers of the Red Army, partisans and underground fighters, and civilians who died during the war.
On the eve of Victory Day, the rally participants visited memorials located in Ostrovets district.
The column of cars started from the monument to Soviet soldiers and partisans in Ostrovets and drove past the locations of monuments and obelisks in Gervyaty agro-town and Giri and Bobrovniki villages.
The column was led by a group of motorcyclists, consisting of workers from Belarusian NPP.
In each populated area, the rally participants were met by local residents. Flowers and garlands were laid at each monument, touching words of gratitude were heard for the Victory, for life and for the peaceful sky above.
And at each monument there was a minute of silence. A minute of silence in memory of those who died in the Great War.
