It is carried out annually at nuclear power plants in accordance with established regulations to ensure the reliable operation of equipment and technological systems.
As part of the planned activities at the first unit of the BelNPP, a partial reloading of fresh nuclear fuel into the reactor will be performed, an audit of the reactor plant equipment and the turbogenerator, main circulation pumps and other equipment and technological systems will be carried out. Specialists will also conduct metal inspection and diagnostics of equipment welded joints. In addition, a number of measures will be implemented to increase the reliability and efficiency of the power unit.
The first power unit of the BelNPP was put into commercial operation on June 10, 2021. Since its inclusion in the unified energy system (November 3, 2020), the BelNPP has generated about 20 billion kWh of electricity.
