Physical start of the first unit of BelNPP is planned in July

The physical start of the first power unit of Belarusian NPP is scheduled for July 2020, and the power start is planned for September-October. This was announced by Minister of Energy of Belarus Viktor Karankevich on the ONT television channel, BelTA informs.

“This year we plan a physical of (the first - BELTA note) power unit and an energy start, that is, the delivery of the first kilowatt-hours to the country's energy system. According to the physical start, we focus on the fact that this is July and, accordingly, the delivery of the first kilowatt-hours of electric energy “This is September-October,” Viktor Karankevich said.

According to him, the Ministry of Energy focuses on these schedules. “If there are any adjustments in the future, we will look and respond to them promptly,” Viktor Karankevich explained.
