A videoconference tour was held at the information center of Belarusian NPP

Written by Department of information and public relations

In the context of the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the information center of the Belarusian NPP for the first time hosted an on-line tour for students of National Children's Educational and Recreation Center “Zubrenok”.

With such a request, the administration of the center addressed the information center of the NPP.

These days, the camp is hosting a shift "Economic BOOM, or Business University of Youth" for students - winners of children's competitions in economics, studying economics as an elective, working in educational business companies.

As part of the shift, the project "Laboratory of Economic Achievements of Belarus" is being implemented, during which students study the economy of our country, as well as prepare educational and research papers on the leading enterprises of Belarus. Of course, the participants of the shift could not ignore such a grandiose energy project as Belarusian nuclear power plant.

By the way, Zubrenok tour groups visited the information center of Belarusian NPP many times. However, the need to comply with anti-epidemic measures this year has made its adjustments to the practice of long-term cooperation between Zubrenok and Belarusian NPP. Therefore, the idea was born to conduct a tour of the information center using one of the popular programs for video presentations.

Within an hour, the participants of the shift not only learned more about Belarusian NPP, but also presented their research reports in energy efficiency and ecology, and also received answers to questions related to nuclear energy and the operation of the NPP.
