The Energy Strategy journal of the Ministry of Energy was recognized as the best periodical according to the results of the CIS EEC competition

The Energy Strategy journal for the third time became the winner of the Competition for the best printed publication of the CIS member states, organized as part of the CIS Electric Energy Council, in the "Periodicals" nomination. The second place was taken by the journal “Energy. Bulletin of the Union of Power Engineers of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (KEGOC JSC), the third - the corporate journal Energy without Borders (PJSC Inter RAO, Russia).

Honorary diplomas were awarded to the information and analytical publication of the Belenergo State Enterprise “Energy of Belarus”, the journal “Qazaq Solar” (Kazakhstan), the weekly Economic Review “Logos-Press” (Moldova), etc.

This year the event was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Newspapers, journals, corporate media registered in the CIS member states covering the electric power industry were presented at the competition.

The results of the competition were announced in Moscow on May 7. Representatives of electric power organizations of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the Russian Federation, and Uzbekistan took part in the vote. The jury meeting in connection with the pandemic was held in absentia format.

The competition for the best print publication in the framework of the CIS Electric Energy Council was first held in 2012 among the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the CIS. According to the results of the contest, the first place was also taken by the  Energy Strategy journal. The second time the publication was awarded the honorary title of winner in 2016 - the year of the 25th anniversary of the Commonwealth.
