During the event, the construction of Belarusian NPP was discussed. According to the head of Rosatom State Corporation, the first power unit is in the highest degree of technical readiness. The parties worked out decisions on further cooperation on putting into operation the first power unit and continuing the construction of the second power unit.
The day before, on September 23, 2019, the Director General of Rosatom State Corporation Alexey Likhachev visited the construction site of the nuclear power plant. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Energy Mikhail Mikhaduk, representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Emergencies and other relevant ministries, the state enterprise Belarusian NPP, JSC ASE AS.
